Question: how would my wife go about getting her drivers licence
A: I am presuming she does not have a license to drive at all at this time. She will need to get an application for a permit, will need to take and pass a written exam to get her permit and then take a road test.
There is a NYS Dept of Motor Vehicles office on post.
