Question: I am PCS'ing to Ft Drum this summer.
Are there camping facilities on base for people with Campers or RV's?
If so how long can one camp on base?
A: Currently Fort Drum has four RV/camper sites with full hook up. Water, electricity, and sewage. Cable is coming. Cost is $20 a night. Call 315-773-7777 ext 0 or 315-772-5435 for reservations. PCS's have priority. For PC's they don't really have a time limit, hopefully not more than 3 months. These sites are side by side in the cantonment area behind the lodging offices on south post. Across the parking lot are restrooms, showers and a laundry room. There is also a fitness facility near by and across the road a free weekday continental breakfast in the lodging office area on Officers Loop.
